What Is A Thread Lift?

Thread Lift is a procedure where threads are attached to the skin tissue or fat and pulled back to instantly lift and smooth loose skin, reducing the appearance of sagging skin. During this procedure, your provider inserts special absorbable, barbed threads into the soft tissue of the face and neck through strategic needle entry points. A hollow needle is inserted into the skin to put the thread in position.

Am I A Good Candidate For A Thread Lift?

A Thread Lift procedure uses different PDO sutures to help lift and tighten skin on the face and neck. A good candidate for a Thread Lift typically has any of the following:

- Sagging Outer Brow Line

- Sagging Cheeks

- Sagging Jowls, Neck And Jawline

- Deep Nasolabial Folds

The typical age for this treatment is late 30’s and older and it is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

During The Treatment

- Numbing will be administered to ensure you are comfortable

- Entry points are made with a hollow needle to insert the thread

- The threads are passed through the entry points and beneath the skin, this is typically painless

- Results are immediate, but the final results will become apparent once the swelling and bruising subside.

After The Treatment

- Apply a cold compress every 30 minutes for the first 24 hours to help reduce swelling. - Sleep on your back for at least three nights after the procedure.

- Return to your normal skincare routine after 24 hours.

- Do not smoke for two weeks after the procedure.

- Avoid excessive sun exposure for one week.

- Avoid strenuous activity for four weeks.

- Wait to touch the entry points for at least 48 hours.

- Do not massage the treatment area.

- Do not pick or scratch at the entry point.
